Mem-u Zin Tomb - Central Garden;
There is Mem-u Zin tomb at the ground floor of Abdaliye Madrasah, over the Cizre city walls at Dağkapı District in Cizre town of Şırnak province. The tomb had been built by Emir Abdal İbn-i Abdullah Seyfettin Boti in 1487 together with the Madrasah.
The walls of the tomb, to where we go down from the Madrasah through stairs, are made from black basalt. There is hole over the tomb, therefore the rain can enter into. There is a sarcophagus within the tomb, that it is open to public.
There are three graves inside. They are belonged to Zin, Bekir and Mem. Mem-u Zin event is a story, including a spiritual love. This love story had been occurred in 854 according to Islamic Calendar (1450-1451) during Cizre Master Emir Zeynuddin.
